	Indian Lake, NY.  Even though summer has come to an end, Indian Lake Theater still continues to bring first run feature films and classics to the big screen and live performances to the stage.

	September 18 and 19, “Taking Woodstock,” the story of the making of that famous weekend in August 1969; August 20, at 4:00 p.m., the humorous classic “Princess Bride”; September 25-27, “Julie and Julia.”  Package a theater ticket with a dinner at a participating Indian Lake restaurant.  Tickets must be pre-purchased at the theater and presented at the restaurant in order to participate in the “Julie and Julia Dine-A-Round.”

	October 2nd to 4th will be a total “special event” weekend at the theater.  Live on stage, October 2 at 7:30 p.m. will be local favorite artists Tom Akstens and Neil Rossi along with the Kossoy Sisters, known for their vocals of “I’ll Fly Away,” from “Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou.” Saturday, October 3, in support of, and a fundraiser for, the Indian Lake Volunteer Fire Department; a special presentation at 7:30 p.m., of “Ladder 49,” starring John Travolta and Joaquin Phoenix.  On Sunday, October 4, at 4:00 p.m., the family classic “Heidi,” featuring the youngest person to ever win an Oscar, Shirley Temple. 

	October 9th and 11th, the new Disney feature “Ponyo,” from Academy award winning director, Hayao Miyazaki.  Saturday, October 10th, at 7:30 p.m., in conjunction with the Indian Lake Library Book Club, “The Time Traveler’s Wife.”  Prior the movie, a potluck dinner will be held at Byron Park at 5:00 p.m.  A discussion of book/movie comparisons will held at the theater immediately following the film presentation.

	A special performance by Pendragon Theater of “Greater Tuna” will be presented on Friday, October 30th at 7:30 p.m., followed by Halloween classics on October 31st and November 1st.

The mission of Indian Lake Theater, Inc., a not-for-profit community theater, is to foster culture and the arts in central Hamilton County through the operation of the Indian Lake Theater as a community stage and screen.
